Hi, can I ask you a question regarding the Malaysian Consulate in LA? I am staying in East Coast and I really have bad experience with the New York staff. It took 5 months just to apply a new passport. I was wondering how's the 'working attitude' in LA? I may be moving to CA within next few months. Thu 26-Feb-2004 21:07

Never too young

Reverse every natural instinct
and do the opposite of what you are inclined to do,
and you will probably come very close to having a perfect golf swing.
~~~~~~~~~~Ben Hogan
Golf is a popular sport in Arizona. There are more than 320 golf courses in Arizona.
No matter how much your household income is, there is always a place for you to play here. There's the elite private golf courses where you can rub shoulders with the who's who in the valley but expect to pay a bundle here. But for the budget minded like us, the munipal courses are good enough. Their fees are affordable. They also provide free golf clinic sessions every summer for kids aged 7-17 and golf lessons are available every Saturday for $10/hour.
It is never too young to start playing this game. Aris was 2 when he showed interest in golf. It started when I took him to see his older brother who was attending a golf clinic just across the street from my apartment. Aris watched from his stroller and when we got home all he wanted was to play with Adan's clubs. So I bought him a plastic set but that didn't last long. He had to wait until his next birthday before we bought him a nicer set. Once a while we take him to a park where he can practice his swing.
¡Felíz cumpleaños!
A belated birthday celebration for my niece Shasha who turned 15 yesterday. A Christmas eve baby!
Since she doesn't like to be photographed, I am just showing her layered pandan cake here.
